Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Foot Mobile Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) to service a portfolio of prestigious commercial offices across Manchester City Centre. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive work to ensure buildings run to the highest standards.

Role covers electrical and mechanical plant, requires strong fault-finding, client-facing skills, and travel between sites.

Qualifications

City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Proven experience in commercial building maintenance.
Electrically qualified with an understanding of mechanical building services.
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial office buildings.
Electrical maintenance including lighting, fault finding, emergency lighting, power distribution and small installations.
Mechanical maintenance including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and HVAC plant.
Complete landlord and tenant maintenance tasks as required.
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS).
Ensure all plant is operating efficiently and report any defects.
Maintain accurate logbooks and compliance documentation.
Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors.
Liaise professionally with clients and building occupiers.
Ensure all work is completed in line with current Health & Safety legislation.
Assist with minor fabric and plumbing maintenance where required.
