Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting an Area Support Officer to provide flexible security cover across multiple client locations in Sittingbourne and surrounding areas. You will monitor site activity, patrol sites, maintain logs, and respond to incidents while upholding professional standards.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, Right to Work in the UK, and driving access to visit sites as needed. You will work across shifts to support operations and ensure safety and security.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK and BS7858 vetting required.
• Valid SIA licence required.
• UK driving licence and own vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide security cover across multiple client sites, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
• Conduct regular site patrols and inspections per site procedures.
• Monitor premises via CCTV and respond to alarms and incidents.
• Record vehicle movements, visitor access, contractor attendance and daily activity logs.
• Maintain accurate security records and incident reports.
• Ensure access control procedures are followed and logs maintained.
• Support flexible deployment and cover annual leave or sickness as required.
