Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is hiring a Mobile Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer based in Northamptonshire. You will service, maintain and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems at customer sites across the region, with a focus on reliability and safety.

The role includes fault-finding, installation support, and delivering excellent on-site service. The successful engineer will hold proven experience in air conditioning and/or refrigeration, a full UK driving licence and

Responsibilities

• Reactive breakdown response and fault diagnosis.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Working on VRV/VRF, split systems, multi-splits, chillers and cold rooms.
• Leak detection, repairs and system testing.
• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Delivering on-site customer service.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.

Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire (applications welcome from surrounding areas)

Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 Basic + Overtime (OTE £43,000 - £50,000+)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

A leading specialist in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration services is looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

The Role

As a Mobile Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a variety of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across customer sites.

Your duties will include:

• Reactive breakdown response and fault diagnosis
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Working on VRV, VRF, Split Systems, Multi-Splits, Chillers and Cold Rooms
• Leak detection, repairs and system testing
• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation

• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements

Essential Requirements

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Previous experience in a field service role
