Job summary

Climacare Group Ltd is seeking a mobile service engineer to service and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems on buses, coaches and other PSV vehicles. The role involves working remotely, with a focus on reliability, strong communication, and good organisational skills.

Candidates should have a refrigeration, air conditioning, or mechanical/electrical engineering background, and hold a F-Gas and City & Guilds certificate (IMI or equivalent accepted).

Qualifications

• Training provided; suitable for refrigeration, air conditioning, or mechanical/electrical engineering backgrounds.
• F-Gas and City & Guilds certificates, or IMI equivalent, accepted.
• Servicing and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems on PSV vehicles.

Job description

Working as part of a small team of engineers the role focuses on the service, maintenance and repair of commercial air conditioned and refrigerated vehicles.

Qualifications

As full training will be provided the role would suit anyone with refrigeration, air conditioning or a mechanical/electrical engineering background.

The candidate will hold an F-Gas and a City & Guilds certificate although an equivalent such as an IMI qualification within an engineering discipline would be acceptable.

The Role

Working fully mobile, the candidate will be responsible for the servicing and repair of air conditioning and refrigerations systems on buses, coaches including commercial PSV vehicles and small refrigerated units.

The candidate will enjoy working independently, be reliable and trustworthy with good communication and organisation skills.

Salary will dependant on qualification and experience.

• Includes a minimum of 40 hours per week paid door to door.
• Opportunity to earn overtime.
