Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd seeks a Mobile AC Engineer for a van-based role covering the Surrey area on a data centre contract. You will perform service and maintenance on a variety of HVAC systems, including split systems, VRVs, VAVs, VRFs, AHUs, FCUs, and chillers, with emphasis on reliability and safety.

The ideal candidate will hold City & Guilds Level 2 in AC, a valid F-Gas certificate, and demonstrate strong commercial building maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled engineer with HVAC and electrical capabilities.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills are essential.
• Trade certificates must be available for inspection.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance on split systems, VRVs, VAVs, VRFs, AHU, FCU, chillers and related HVAC equipment.
• Perform pressure leak tests and compressor changes.
• Braise and assist with electrical tasks; broader building services knowledge is beneficial.

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting an air conditioning engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a data centre contract. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

This position would be ideal for an Air Conditioning Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company are offering a competitive salary

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Air conditioning and refrigeration - Service/maintenance
• Your main duties will be service and maintenance on split systems, VRVs, VAV's and VRF's, AHU's, FCU's, Chillers and all HVAC and refrigeration plant.
• Pressure leak tests
• Compressor changes
• Braising
• Electrical Knowledge would be beneficial.
• Extensive building services knowledge

Hours of Work & Package Information

• Monday to Friday 8:00 am-17:00 pm
• 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
• Up to £44,000
• Van & Fuel Card
• Tablet & Work Phone Provided
• Full company uniform

• Travel paid after 30 minutes each way
• Overtime available

Requirements

• AC qualified - City & Guilds Level 2
• F-Gas qualification (Essential)
• Electrical Knowledge (Preferred)
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
