Job summary

Artic Building Services Ltd is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to perform maintenance and reactive tasks on client sites across London and surrounding counties. You will complete PDA tasks, carry out risk assessments, and prepare reports on additional works after liaising with clients.

Role requires an apprenticeship in HVAC, broad VRF/VRVS/AHU knowledge, and a flexible, team-oriented approach focused on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship + AC/refrigeration qualifications incl. Safe Handling 2079.
• Experience in HVAC/building services environments.
• Strong client relationship and on-site problem solving.
• Proven knowledge of VRF/VRVS/AHU systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and reactive tasks to plant on client site.
• Complete all PDA tasks including Risk Assessments.
• Provide further works reports where required.
• Liaise with the client concerning work completed and any further works required.
• Update contract managers with relevant client or site information.
• Inform administrator of any site or plant changes / site plant asset management.
• Collect parts from supplier or head office where applicable.
• Provide weekly timesheet to office on a Monday.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Skills Required:

• Completed applicable apprenticeship and possess relevant AC and Refrigeration industry qualifications. Including up to date Safe Handling (2079)
• Comprehensive working experience from an HVAC and Building Services environment
• A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and Building Services industry
• Proven technical knowledge of a wide spectrum of Air Conditioning systems and plant including that of: VRF, VRVS, AHU’s, Cold-room's and Specialist Refrigeration
• Ability to develop and be part of a team. Manage their own time, works and paperwork
• Capable of building long term relationships with clients both of existing and prospective
• Positive attitude “can do will do”.
• Flexible in approach to hours and solving problems on site
• Commercially astute, driven to identify and generate additional works / sales
• Provide technical support to administration staff as required.
