Are you looking for a great opportunity to work with an outstanding service provider who has secured multiple contracts over the last few years? Winner Recruitment is currently working with an innovative, growing service provider focusing on hard services within the facilities management sector across commercial and retail sites. They are recruiting an AC Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance and servicing across various commercial and retail locations. The work involves maintaining a variety of AC systems, including servicing of splits, VRV, and AHU systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with various tools and equipment, across different sectors. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Serve as the main engineer across multiple sites in Bristol and surrounding areas, performing planned and reactive maintenance on AC systems.
2. Conduct regular inspections to identify issues like leaks, blockages, or component wear.
3. Repair and replace parts such as belts and filters.
4. Maintain accurate records of services and equipment status (FGAS, etc.).
5. Assist with basic plumbing tasks when needed; knowledge of hot & cold-water systems is advantageous.
6. Support installation teams with commissioning and provide guidance on legislation from a commercial gas perspective.
7. Quote remedial works and prepare detailed reports for follow-up.
8. Work in accordance with health and safety standards, collaborating with other engineers and subcontractors.
9. Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 6).

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ in AC or equivalent, and Fgas certification.
• Manufacturer training (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Panasonic) is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent client-facing skills with strong written and verbal communication.
