Job summary

Supply Desk is working with a supportive SEN school in the Uxbridge area to appoint an MLD Teaching Assistant. This full-time role supports pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties to access learning and stay engaged throughout the school day.

You will work 1:1 or in small groups, adapt resources, and collaborate with teachers and SEN staff. An Enhanced DBS check is required; ASAP start is available.

Supply Desk is delighted to be working in partnership with a supportive and nurturing SEN school in the Uxbridge area to appoint a dedicated MLD Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) in a structured and inclusive environment.

This role would suit a compassionate and patient individual with a passion for supporting children with additional needs, helping them to build confidence, independence, and achieve their full potential.

The Role

As an MLD Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties, both in and out of the classroom, ensuring they can access learning and feel supported throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities

• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)
