Job summary

A leading educational provider in Oxford is seeking a qualified MLD Teacher to provide tailored tuition for young people with diverse learning needs. This part-time position offers a flexible approach aimed at enhancing educational outcomes while supporting students' social-emotional journeys. Ideal candidates will have teaching qualifications and experience in special education, with the ability to create engaging and trauma-informed learning environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years teaching experience with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD.
• Enhanced DBS (we can assist with cost if needed).
• Ability to work in a manner that promotes health, safety, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND.
• Plan and provide holistic tutoring sessions that meet learners' needs.
• Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress.
