Cleo is hiring a Machine Learning Tech Lead to take technical leadership of the Payments Intelligence team, guiding a team of around 4 MLEs and shaping how Cleo's payments systems deliver value. You will deploy classifiers and recommendation models on tabular data, collaborate with product managers and engineers, and ensure data collection supports future models.

The role combines hands-on coding with strategic mentorship.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years in data science or ML engineering.
• At least 1 year in people management.
• Ability to write production-quality Python code.
• Experience deploying ML models into production.
• Track record in payments, pricing, risk decisioning, or related problems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage a team of 4 MLEs.
• Deploy machine learning models into production - classifiers and payments recommender systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and analysts.
• Work closely with engineers to ensure right data is collected to build future models.
