Lorien, a UK financial services company, is seeking an ML Engineer to design and optimise ML pipelines and data platforms. You will help industrialise ML models and deliver scalable data solutions in a fast-evolving environment.

The role focuses on ML Ops, data engineering, deployment, monitoring and governance. You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers, work in a hybrid setup with office attendance weekly or fortnightly, and benefit from a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and SQL with strong Spark experience.
• Experience with ML Ops, data engineering and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Hands-on deployment, monitoring and lifecycle management of ML models.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable ML pipelines and data workflows.
• Deploy, monitor and manage ML models in production.
• Improve processes to boost reliability and performance.
• Develop data engineering solutions to support analytics and ML use cases.
• Ensure model governance, monitoring and observability best practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to tooling and engineering standards to support continuous improvement.
• Prior experience in a commercial/Agile environment with ML/DS focus.
