Job summary

Co-operative Bank plc is seeking a skilled Data & Analytics professional to design, develop and test ML and data engineering solutions. The role supports deployment and monitoring of ML models and data pipelines, and provides guidance on design and testing activities.

The position is based in Coventry with a hybrid work pattern (2-3 days in the office) and occasional travel to other sites to collaborate on key meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong ML Ops and data engineering development experience.
• Experience with cloud data tooling (AWS) and Databricks.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, Spark.
• Experience scaling ML models and lifecycle management.
• Exposure to containerisation and infra tooling (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiar with ML lifecycle monitoring and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test machine learning and data engineering solutions.
• Support deployment, monitoring and retraining of ML models and data pipelines.
• Review and improve processes, tools and approaches; mentor team members.
• Travel to other sites for key meetings as needed.
