Job summary

Trust In SODA is partnering with an established UK business to recruit a Senior AI Engineer to lead production-grade AI solutions across the full lifecycle.

The role is hands-on and senior, driving architecture, setting development standards, mentoring engineers and delivering reliable AI systems in production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience across AI, machine learning or data engineering.
• Strong commercial experience with Python and Databricks.
• Solid SQL, ETL/ELT and data pipeline experience.
• Experience building and deploying LLM applications.
• Knowledge of traditional machine learning and AutoML.
• Experience taking AI or ML solutions into production.
• Strong software engineering practices, including testing, version control and CI/CD.
• Cloud experience, ideally within Azure.
• Previous experience mentoring or guiding engineers.

Job description

We’re partnering with an established UK business that is expanding its Data, Analytics & AI function and looking for a Senior AI Engineer to lead the development of production-grade AI solutions.

This is a senior, hands-on position for someone who can work across the complete AI lifecycle, from data preparation and experimentation through to deployment, evaluation, monitoring and continuous improvement.

You’ll take technical ownership of AI engineering projects, help shape architecture and development standards, and mentor junior engineers while remaining closely involved in delivery.

What you’ll be working on:
