Robson & Prescott Veterinary Surgeons in Morpeth, Northumberland, is seeking an experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon for a varied role across small animal, farm and equine work with export duties. The position offers a 40‑hour week spread over four days and participation in our in‑house out‑of‑hours rota for continuity of care.

An OV qualification would be welcomed but isn’t essential; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Experienced mixed veterinary surgeon with interest in small animal, farm, equine and export work.
• OV qualification welcomed but isn’t essential.
• Willingness to participate in our in‑house out‑of‑hours rota.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality veterinary care across small animal, farm and equine clients.
• Contribute to export certification work where appropriate.
• Build trusted, long‑term relationships with clients across local communities.
• Work closely with colleagues across multiple disciplines to deliver excellent clinical outcomes.
• Manage a varied mix of medical and surgical cases.
• Participate in our in‑house out‑of‑hours rota, ensuring continuity of patient care.
• Continue developing your clinical skills through supported CPD and collaboration.
