Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care in Northumberland near Morpeth is seeking an experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join our established team. The role balances small animal, farm, equine and export work, making full use of a mixed skillset with mentoring and internal training available.

Working full-time, you’ll enjoy a 40-hour week across four days with a set day off each week to maintain work‑life balance, plus participation in our in‑house out‑of‑hours rota.

Based in the heart of beautiful Northumberland, we're a well‑established mixed practice with a team of 27 veterinary surgeons providing exceptional care across small animal, farm, equine, exotics and export work. Whether you're treating companion animals in our purpose‑built hospital, carrying out farm visits, or working with horses across the local community, you'll enjoy the diversity and continuity that only mixed practice can offer.

We're looking for an experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive team. This role offers an excellent balance of small animal, farm, equine and export work, allowing you to make full use of your mixed skillset while continuing to develop your interests. An OV qualification would be welcomed but isn't essential, as we're happy to provide training and support. Working full‑time, you'll enjoy a 40‑hour week across four days, with a set day off each week to help maintain a healthy work‑life balance. As part of our commitment to continuity of care, you'll also take part in our own in‑house out‑of‑hours rota.
