Your new firm & role:

I'm currently working with a leading independent accountancy firm in Manchester who are looking to expand their tax advisory team. A strong and well-established tax team you will be joining and an award-winning tax team who in the last 3-5 years have gone from strength to strength.

1. Support and manage a complex portfolio of business owners and OMBs with a variety of personal and corporate tax matters.
2. An advisory focused role you will be working closely with your client base supporting on projects such as succession planning, exit strategies, property tax, transactional work, inheritance tax, R&D reliefs and share schemes to name a few.
3. Support the partners and senior management with running the department and supporting more junior staff.
4. Manage WIP and help win business for the firm.
5. Networking and other business development opportunities.

What do you need to be successful:

1. Tax advisory experience working with OMBs or business owners.
2. Traditional corporate tax and personal tax background considered.
3. Mixed tax experience would be beneficial.
