Job summary

SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon is hiring entry-level Mitigation Laborers. No experience or degree required; full training is paid. You will learn a licensed trade and work with real equipment to respond to water, fire, and storm damage for homeowners.

Starting pay is $20.00–$23.00 per hour. IICRC certification paid by us, with overtime and clear advancement paths from crew member to leadership roles across 16 locations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license and able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet.
• Punctual, ready to work, and reliable.
• Willing to be on-call for emergency shifts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to property damage calls and assess needs.
• Extract water, set up drying equipment, and perform demo of damaged materials.
• Work with a crew and learn the restoration process.

We're hiring entry-level Mitigation Laborers, no experience needed, no degree required, full training paid. You'll learn a licensed trade (IICRC certification, on us), work with real equipment, and respond to real emergencies helping homeowners recover from water, fire, and storm damage.

What you'll do:

Respond to property damage calls. Extract water, set up drying equipment, and demo damaged materials. Work with a crew. Learn the science of restoration (psychometrics, structural drying, microbial remediation). Talk to customers on the worst day of their year and help fix it.

What We're Looking For

• 18+, valid driver's license, able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet
• Show up on time, ready to work
• Willing to be on-call rotation (water damage doesn't keep banker's hours)
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, not required
