Job summary

Leonardo UK seeks a Business Lead for Mission Support to set vision, drive strategy, and lead a cross-functional IPT across Luton and Lincoln. You will own the 5-year plan, steer campaigns to win new business, and ensure lifecycle-aligned project execution with strong customer engagement.

The role requires strategic thinking, exceptional stakeholder management, and a track record in software product management and engineering-related leadership within a regulated defense context.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision and strategy for the Mission Support product area.
• Manage financial performance and the 5-year Integrated Business Plan.
• Lead integrated campaign teams to develop and secure new business opportunities.
• Line manage and coach the project management team.
• Oversee cross-portfolio dependencies and resource balancing.
• Ensure projects are executed in line with Leonardo's lifecycle principles.
• Maintain strong engagement with customers throughout execution.
• Report monthly on portfolio performance to the VP IMS.
