Job summary

Aalyria Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mission Engineer in the United Kingdom to bridge communications physics with software orchestration. The role combines aspects of a Wireless Systems Engineer and a Software Integration Engineer.

You will handle system models, lead software integration tasks, and ensure performance within live networks. Ideal candidates possess a B.S. in relevant fields with 3+ years of experience, alongside a passion for aerospace communications.

Qualifications

Strong software engineering fundamentals paired with a solid understanding of physical-layer communications.
Hands-on software development experience and comfort passing an entry-level SWE coding assessment.
Experience with wireless communication systems, including RF propagation and link budgets.
Practical experience developing or working with system/network simulation and modeling tools.
Typically backed by 3+ years of professional engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain high-fidelity system models within Spacetime.
Design and write production-ready 'adapter layers' to connect Spacetime with customer hardware.
Create and optimize data schemas to map complex external network topologies.
Perform wireless communication system link budget analyses.
Act as the tier‑3 escalation lead for live networks.
Work closely with core Product and Software Engineering teams.
