Job summary

Comxps Ltd is seeking a Solution Architect (Secure Communications) for a Government project in Wiltshire. The role is mainly onsite with DV clearance and requires on-site presence across multiple bases.

The contractor will design and migrate legacy systems to IP networks and work with cryptographic technologies while aligning with defence standards. The successful candidate will produce architectural designs, engage stakeholders, and provide advisory input during the 12-month contract with

Qualifications

• Proven experience in military messaging systems architecture.
• Strong knowledge of defence standards (JSP604/453) and military messaging protocols (STANAG 4406, STANAG 5066, ACP127, DOI 103).
• Experience in designing and migrating legacy communication systems to IP-based networks.
• Familiarity with Cross-Domain Solutions, Guard gateways, and PKI security frameworks.
• Ability to produce high-level and low-level architectural designs and documentation.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and independent advisory roles.
