Job summary

Summer-Browning Associates is seeking a Solution Architect (Secure Communications) for an initial twelve-month assignment with the option to extend. You will be responsible for architectural governance, legacy modernisation, and interoperability engineering to ensure secure, multi-domain systems align with the client’s standards.

The ideal candidate will hold Active DV clearance and have a strong background in delivery Architecture & Secure Communications, with experience designing and migrating

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our defence client, who is seeking a Solution Architect (Secure Communications) for an initial twelve-month assignment with the option to extend.

Location: Hybrid working - Corsham (upto x3 days per week onsite)

About the role: You will be responsible for architectural governance, Legacy modernisation, and interoperability engineering to ensure secure, multi-domain systems align with the clients standards.

The ideal candidate will hold Active DV clearance have a strong background in delivery Architecture & Secure Communications support, with the following skills and experience:

• Experience in designing and migrating Legacy communication systems to IP-based networks.
• Familiarity with Cross-Domain Solutions, Guard gateways, and PKI security frameworks.
• Experience working with interoperability standards and frameworks.
• Knowledge of maritime and tactical communication systems. (Desirable)
• Experience with cryptographic hardware life cycle management. (Desirable)
