Job summary

Sir William Perkins’s School is seeking a proactive MIS and Data Systems Lead to oversee the school’s Management Information Systems and data services. You will lead the development and continuous improvement of data systems to support operational and strategic decision-making.

The role includes managing data, reporting, timetables, bookings, returns, and user support, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and staff/student/parent experience.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex information systems and software implementations.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel expertise.
• Understanding of GDPR and school compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of SQL/Power BI or similar reporting tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MIS and data services; ensure accuracy, security, and accessibility.
• Lead data management, reporting, timetable imports, and parents’ evening bookings.
• Support statutory returns and user assistance for staff and students.
• Manage migration to new MIS platform from data prep to training and optimisation.
