Job summary

Northumbria University is seeking a skilled professional to manage the receipt, procurement and delivery of minor building and engineering works. You will consult with customers throughout the process, coordinating with the Facilities and Estates team to ensure a smooth service experience.

You will support planning and managing term and cyclical maintenance contracts, procure external providers, and oversee performance to ensure value for money and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of procurement, delivery and management of minor works.
• Understanding of cost estimation and technical specs for minor building projects.
• Familiarity with H&S legislation and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, procurement and delivery of minor building and engineering works.
• Consult with customers throughout the process from request to final delivery.
• Procure external service providers and oversee their performance for value and compliance.
• Maintain project documentation, ensure quality control and resolve issues with contractors.
• Work with the Facilities and Estates team to deliver minor works and projects.
