Job summary

RBC Group in London seeks an Associate for the Global Mining and Metals Investment Banking team. You will provide investment banking services (M&A, ECM, DCM, leverage finance) to corporate and PE clients in the Mining & Metals sector.

You will lead workstreams, support senior bankers with client relationships, and mentor juniors while building financial models and researching market opportunities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related quantitative discipline.
• Notable Investment Banking or Transaction Advisory experience (mining sector/M&A).
• Ability to build, audit, and present complex financial models and select valuation methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage workstreams on M&A, equity and debt financing transactions across mining & metals.
• Act as day-to-day client contact and support senior bankers in deal execution.
• Oversee preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials for strategic coherence.
