Bede's Trust is seeking two temporary Minibus Drivers to join the Transport Team at the Senior School in Upper Dicker. You will transport pupils to and from the timetable, trips and events, while ensuring safety and pupil welfare.
Applicants must hold a Category D1 licence, have good knowledge of the local roads and a recent eye test. The roles are part-time (22.5 hours/week), term-time only, with additional Saturday Open Mornings and one INSET day per year.
Bede's Trust is currently looking to appoint two temporary Minibus Driver's to join our Transport Team, based at our Senior School in Upper Dicker.
As a member of the Transport Department, you will be transporting pupils to and from school in accordance with the planned time table and agreed routes. Additionally, you will transport pupils to sporting fixtures, airports, activities and school trips. You will be responsible for the supervision, safety and behaviour of pupils whilst on or around vehicles, and you will need to drive and operate vehicles in accordance with current legislation and the schools policies and procedures at all times.
The successful applicant will need to have good communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as be a confident, polite, and organised individual, who provides the highest levels of driver behaviour and safety.
The applicant will need to hold a valid driving licence Category D1 and have a good knowledge of the local road network. You will also need to have a recent eye test result within the last 3 months.
These are Temporary, Part-Time positions, working 22.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, Term Time Only (33 weeks per year). There is a requirementto attend two Saturday's of Open Morningand one day of INSETper year.
The morning and afternoon bus runs are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 06:15 - 08:30 and 16:45 - 19:00
Wednesday and Friday: 06:15 - 08:30 and 16:15 - 18:30
