Job summary

Beech House in Thornbury is seeking a Minibus Driver. Applicants must hold a PCV licence with a Tachograph card and up-to-date CPC training. The role includes transporting residents to offsite activities and assisting with boarding and safety on the minibus.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and duties for the Minibus Driver role are:

• Working alongside the Activities staff to provide safe transportation for our residents to offsite activities
• Safe boarding, and securing of residents and their wheelchairs on the minibus
• Working alongside the Activities staff to provide safe transportation
• Assisting with any other tasks as requested

Requirements for the Minibus Driver role:

• Up to date CPC training
• Must be at least 25 years old and hold a PCV licence and Tachograph card
• Previous experience in the role would be an advantage

Although we will consider applicants without qualifications or experience, the following would be an advantage:

• Experience of working with the elderly, preferably in a care home environment.
• MiDAS training

PAY

From £13.45 to £13.90 per hour DOE

HOURS

• Wednesday - 9am to 4pm
• Thursday - 9am to 4pm
