Hamberley Care Homes is recruiting a Minibus Driver to support residents at Milngavie Manor and two Glasgow locations. You will transport residents to activities, appointments and events, conduct safety checks and maintain records.

You will also help provide an engaging, safe, and enjoyable resident experience through outings and community contact. The role forms part of our Activities team, with a focus on wellbeing and social engagement in a premium care setting.

The Minibus Driver at Milngavie Manor is a unique role, allowing you to make a real difference to our residents' lives in a varied role where no two days are the same.The Minibus Driver will undertake transport duties for the Home as directed by the manager, in order to provide transportation within the community that is safe, flexible, comfortable and well planned, depending on the needs of Residents and fellow colleagues.

You will also be expected to carry out any reasonable duties, which may be requested from time-to-time.

You will need to ensure passengers comply with Health & Safety instructions, provide risk assessments for the safe operation of vehicles, and maintain paperwork and daily log records to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.

play a pivotal role in a team of Colleagues and volunteers taking passengers on outings, appointments, events, and activities, significantly increasing Resident's sense of wellbeing, whilst helping people to stay in touch with their communities.
