Qualifications

• Hold UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Have a valid DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Milk tanker experience is an advantage but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh milk to the dairy with care and precision.
• Drive mainly rural routes with some motorways.
• Ensure deliveries/collections are on time and meet client requirements.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone.

Job description

• Take on the fulfilling task of delivering fresh milk to the dairy, ensuring every delivery is made with care and precision.
• Engage in a variety of driving experiences, from mostly rural routes through scenic countryside to motorway journeys.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time, meeting client requirements and maintaining consistently high standards.
• Carry out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone to ensure vehicle safety, compliance, and reliability.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing updates on progress and any issues encountered.
• Participate in regular training sessions to remain up to date with industry standards, procedures, and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience with milk tankers would be an advantage, though full training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Have excellent geographical knowledge, navigating routes with ease and precision.

Competitive Salary: £17.92 per hour, based on working 10 hours per shift. PLUS for all hours worked between 22:00hrs & 05:59hrs, you will receive an additional £2.25 per hour.

Shift Hours: Start between 02:00hrs - 03:00hrs, on a 4on 4off shift basis.
