Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Registered Nurse or Paramedic to join Cirencester MIiU. The post is permanent and part-time (36 hours per week).

The role involves triage of patients, working with Emergency Practitioners, and delivering high-quality care in a busy MIiU environment. Applicants with ED/MIiU experience are welcomed, though transferable skills from other acute settings will be considered.

Qualifications

• Professional registration with relevant nursing body (NMC) or equivalent for Paramedic status.
• Previous post-registration clinical experience in ED/MIiU/Urgent care is preferred but not essential if transferable skills exist.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to patient-centred care.
• Demonstrates core values and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and team-working skills are essential for effective patient care.

Responsabilités

• Triage patients using Manchester Triage and ensure safety of those waiting to be assessed.
• Collaborate with Emergency Practitioners to deliver care and manage a high daily patient load.
• Work across a 7-day MIiU service with a variety of shift patterns; unit operates 08:00–20:00.
• Support training and preceptorship activities for newly qualified staff as part of the team.
