Job summary

AJP Recruitment is recruiting MIG Welders to work on the weekend shift for a large manufacturing company based in Peterlee. This is a 24-month contract with 36 hours per week (Friday to Sunday) on 12-hour shifts. Shift times are 6:00am to 18:00pm.

Basic pay is £27.44 per hour PAYE, with Tyne Tunnel fees paid for candidates north of the Tyne Tunnel and excess mileage paid over 40 miles at 0.45p per mile. Monthly attendance bonus and a £150 trades test payment are offered.

• NVQ Level 3 in welding or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years MIG welding experience.

Job description

AJP are recruiting Mig Welders to work on the weekend shift for a large manufacturing company based in Peterlee.

24 Month Contract

36 hours per week (Friday - Sunday) - 12 hour shifts

Rates (All rates are PAYE - with holiday accrued on top):

Basic: £27.44 Hour

Candidates North of the Tyne Tunnel will be paid Tyne Tunnel fees by the client.

Excess mileage will be paid for over 40 miles from site at 0.45p per mile.

Monthly Company & Attendance Bonus
