Job summary

Morson Edge in Peterlee is seeking a skilled Welder for an ongoing full-time role in a busy manufacturing environment. You will weld on build fixtures to tight tolerances and join Caterpillar components, with opportunities for overtime and weekend shifts in a safe, modern facility.

Experience with MIG and MMA welding is essential; NVQ Level 3 is required. You will work across day, afternoon and night shifts, with competitive pay rates and long-term prospects with our client.

Qualifications

• Experienced with welding fixtures to tight tolerances.
• Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
• Follow standard work procedures and safety rules.
• Carry out manual lifting as required.
• Maintain high safety awareness at all times.
• Experience in MIG and MMA welding.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Weld on build fixtures to tight tolerances.
• Work across days, afternoons and nights depending on shift pattern.
• Adhere to standard welding procedures and quality checks.
• Participate in overtime opportunities and full induction/training.
