Job summary

AJP are recruiting MIG welders (Day, Backshift and Night shift) for a large manufacturing company based in Peterlee. This will be a 2 year project with overtime available. 36.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri). Rates: Day £20.33, Backshift £24.40, Night £27.45 per hour.

Overtime 1.5x (Mon-Sat) and 2x on Sundays. Tyne Tunnel fees paid for those north of the Tyne Tunnel; excess mileage paid at 0.45p per mile. Shifts run as follows: Days 08:00–16:00 (Fri 08:00–12:30), Backshift 16:00–00:00 (Fri

• Previous MIG welding experience required.
• NVQ Level 3 in welding or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Operate MIG welding equipment on manufacturing project.

AJP are recruiting Dayshift, Backshift and Nightshift Mig Welders for a large manufacturing company based in Peterlee.

This will be a 2 year project with overtime available.

36.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Rates (All rates are PAYE - with holiday accrued on top):

• Day Shift: £20.33 per hour
• Backshift Shift: £24.40 per hour
• Night Shift: £27.45 per hour

Overtime 1.5 (Mon-Sat)

Overtime 2 (Sundays)

Shifts:

• Days: Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 16:00. Friday, 08:00 - 12:30
• Back shift: Monday - Thursday, 16:00 - 00:00. Friday, 12:30 - 17:00
• Night shift: Monday - Thursday, 00:00 - 08:00. Friday, 17:00 - 21:30

Candidates North of the Tyne Tunnel will be paid Tyne Tunnel fees by the client.

Excess mileage will be paid for over 40 miles from site at 0.45p pr mile.
