Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced MIG Welder for a client based in Sandy, Bedfordshire. The role focuses on MIG welding and fabrication of steel components, using engineering drawings to ensure high-quality workmanship.

This temp-to-perm opportunity offers progression to a permanent position after a successful temporary period. Hours are Mon-Thu 7:30am-5:30pm and Fri 7:30am-12:00pm, totaling 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience in steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld steel components and fabrications.
• Read from engineering drawings and welding specifications.
• Fabricate, assemble and fit steelwork.
• Measure, cut and prepare materials for welding.
• Ensure welds meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
