Job summary

Advanced Resourcing Ltd is seeking a skilled MIG Welder fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will weld metal components with precision, read engineering drawings, and operate with safety and quality in mind.

This 12-week temporary-to-permanent role offers a day shift from 07:30 to 17:30, Monday to Thursday, at £15 per hour. You will work independently or in a team to fabricate, assemble, and inspect welded parts in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Proven MIG welding experience with a focus on structural welds.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with fabrication tasks and use of hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate MIG welding equipment to join metal parts per specs.
• Read engineering drawings, blueprints, and instructions.
• Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components with tools.
• Fabricate, grind, and finish metal surfaces to required standards.
• Quality check welds and finished products for compliance.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area per health and safety rules.
• Assist in assembling fabricated parts into final products.
• Troubleshoot minor welding equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.
