Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Welder for a permanent role in Dungannon, County Tyrone. You will weld to engineering drawings, manage quality targets and work safely within a modern workshop environment.

The role requires at least 3 years in welding/fabrication, ability to read AutoCAD drawings, and competence with MIG welding. Salary reflects day and night shifts with overtime and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a welding/fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and AutoCAD drawings.
• Proven experience carrying out high-quality MIG welding.
• Experience operating workshop machinery and hand tools.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Flexible approach to work and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings accurately.
• Carry out MIG welding to a consistently high standard.
• Operate workshop equipment and hand-held power tools safely and effectively.
• Perform in-process quality inspections to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Update and engage with the company's MRP system as required.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the work area.
• Work efficiently to achieve production and performance targets.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
• Demonstrate excellent timekeeping, attendance and professionalism.
• Undertake additional duties, within reason and capability, as required by the Team Leader.
