Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder for a full-time permanent role in Antrim. You will perform MIG welding, fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts from engineering drawings, and maintain quality and safety standards on the shop floor.

The successful candidate will have MIG welding experience, the ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency with hand and power tools. You will contribute to a fast-paced production team and support process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in fabrication.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques is advantageous.
• Strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
• Apply basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
