Job summary

Sean Jordan Engineering in Dungannon is seeking skilled fabricators and welders for their busy workshop. The role focuses on MIG welding, reading CAD drawings, and fabricating structural metalwork to project specs.

You will work from 9 to 5, with overtime opportunities, enhanced pension, private medical insurance, and on-site parking. Experience in fabrication environments and attention to detail are essential for meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Fabrication/welding.
• Previous experience in MIG welding process.
• Experience working in a fabrication environment.
• Experience reading, interpreting, and fabricating from CAD drawings.
• Experience using measurement instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workload to meet project deadlines.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work within a team structure, as well as working on individual projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate MIG welding equipment.
• Read/interpret and fabricate from CAD drawings.
• Use precision measurement instruments.
• Cutting metal structures.
• Highlight faults or damage to the machine and its tooling.
• Clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Maintain a safe working environment.

Sean Jordan Engineering is an established and reputable firm specialising in Structural Engineering, Steel Fabrication, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Steel erection, and tank & silo manufacture. They have approximately 40,000 square feet of fully equipped workshop floor area and all steelwork is shotblasted and primed to the required standards within their own premises. They operate a strucad system and have a fully automated computerized drill line that can handle orders from 20 to 1000 tonnes.

They have carried out many structural steel projects throughout Ireland and have successfully worked with all the leading consulting engineers in Northern Ireland.
