Overtime can push annual earnings to £48k–£54k. You'll work in a workshop, performing MIG welding and fabrication for steel construction projects, including industrial buildings, aircraft hangars, and bridges.

Qualifications

• Previous fabrication and welding experience is required.
• TIG welding experience and a CSCS card would be beneficial, but neither is essential.

Job description

We are recruiting an experienced Welder / Fabricator for a long-established structural steel company in New Milton.

Start on £18 per hour, with the potential for a pay increase within the first month depending on your skill level. With overtime, annual earnings can reach £48,000-£54,000.

The role

You will join an expanding workshop team, predominantly carrying out MIG welding and fabrication for steel construction projects, including industrial buildings, aircraft hangars and bridges.

Previous fabrication and welding experience is required. TIG welding experience and a CSCS card would be beneficial, but neither is essential.

Working hours

Monday-Thursday: 7.45am-4.15pm

Friday: 7.30am-3pm

Optional early starts from 6.30am for those wanting additional overtime

Overtime paid after 39 hours per week at 1.3×

Saturday morning overtime paid at 1.5×

Pay and benefits

£18 per hour starting rate
