Job summary

My client in Washington is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder for an expanding team on a temporary to permanent basis. You will undergo a weld test at interview and may be taken on permanently after a qualifying period. Salary is £13.28 per hour rising to £13.80 per hour on permanent appointment.

The ideal candidate will have MIG welding experience, be able to read engineering drawings, and work with range plate 1mm to 50mm, using freehand and jig/fixture setups.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience (2+ years)
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Experience with range plate 1mm–50mm
• Free hand welding as well as using jigs and fixtures
