Job Title: MIG Welder Fabricator

Our client based in Netherfield is currently recruiting for a MIG Welder Fabricator to join their family-run and well-established team. They specialise in the structural industry, including gantries, staircases, signage, exhibitions, and balconies.

Job Description:

1. Working within the heavy steel industry
2. Welding using drawings
3. Measuring and calculating angles
4. Performing MIG welding and fabricating from scratch
5. Confidently managing the job from start to finish
6. Working with mild steel and some stainless steel
7. Handling gauges up to 120mm
8. Using machinery such as grinders, presses, and guillotines
9. Checking own work confidently

Requirements:

• Time-served Welder or Fabricator
• Ability to work with mild steel up to 120mm gauges

Desirable Skills:

• Overhead crane license
• TIG welding (advantageous but not essential, as mainly MIG)

Package:

• £15 per hour
• Overtime paid at a premium
• Permanent role
• Day shifts: Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 13:00
• On-site parking available
