£15.00 per hour | Permanent opportunity | Day shifts | Netherfield

Our client, based in Netherfield, is currently recruiting for a MIG Welder Fabricator to join their family-run and well-established team. The company specializes in the structural industry, including gantries, staircases, signage, exhibitions, and balconies.

MIG Welder Job Responsibilities:

1. Working within the heavy steel industry
2. Welding using drawings
3. Calculating angles and measurements
4. MIG Welding and Fabricating from scratch
5. Confidently managing the job from start to finish
6. Working with Mild Steel and some stainless steel
7. Handling gauges up to 120mm
8. Using machinery including grinders, press, and guillotine

Essential Skills:

• Time-served Welder or Fabricator
• Ability to work with mild steel up to 120mm gauges

Desirable Skills:

• Overhead crane license
• Apprentice trained
• TIG welding experience (advantageous but not essential, as mostly MIG)

Package:

• £15 per hour
• Overtime paid at a premium
• Permanent role
• Day shifts – Monday to Thursday, Friday (Apply online only)
