Job Description:
We are a long-established and growing manufacturer of poultry housing systems and equipment, currently looking for a skilled MIG Welder Fabricator to join our fabrication team in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a professional and supportive team working in a clean, modern, and well-equipped workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out high-quality MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components.
* Fabricate both bespoke and batch production parts from detailed technical drawings.
* Operate a variety of workshop machinery and hand tools, including grinders, saws, drills, and press brakes.
* Maintain high standards of precision, quality, and finish throughout the fabrication process.
* Assemble, fit, and finish welded components into complete assemblies or structural systems.
* Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure structural integrity and compliance with specifications.
* Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards within the workshop environment.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in MIG welding in a fabrication setting.
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
* Proficient in working with a range of sheet metal thicknesses.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
