Job summary

Connect Appointments are seeking MIG Welders with a manufacturing background for ongoing work in Prestwick. The role involves MIG welding, working with piece parts, jigs and bench hand work, with potential for permanent placement after the assignment.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:15pm, with overtime available at enhanced rate and a pay rate of £13 per hour. Successful candidates will have existing welding skills; training for non-welders is not offered.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.
• Solid welding skills with pre-existing welding experience.
• Semi-skilled/part qualified welders will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Welds using MIG on piece parts and jigs.
• Perform bench hand work and assist in fabrication tasks.

Connect Appointments are seeking MIG Welders from a manufacturing background on an ongoing basis, with the possibility of a permanent position at the end of the assignment.

Skilled/Semi-skilled/part qualified MIG Welders with a solid career in welding can be considered

What's on offer?

Working as a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for working with piece parts, using jigs and bench hand work, whilst also involved in other larger fabrication.

To be successful as a MIG Welder, you will be skilled in MIG Welding of metal products. Semi-skilled/self-taught Welders from a manufacturing/fabrication background will be considered.
