Job summary

Wild Recruitment are seeking a MIG Welder to join our client's Metalwork Department, offering an opportunity for both experienced welders and new joiners to develop their skills in a supportive manufacturing environment.

You will produce high-quality welded components from technical drawings, with full training and support provided to help you develop your welding capabilities. Pay is up to £14.00 per hour, with a 39-hour week from Monday to Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm and Friday 7:30am–12:30pm.

Qualifications

• Welding qualification and/or relevant practical welding experience.
• Candidates currently undertaking welding training are encouraged to apply.
• Manufacturing environment experience is desirable.
• Ability to read measurements and understand production paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG welding to a high standard.
• Manufacture, weld and complete components from detailed drawings.
• Complete work within set production deadlines.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Report any health & safety, equipment or quality concerns.

The Role

As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components while working from technical drawings and ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and within agreed timescales. Full training and support will be provided to help candidates develop their welding capabilities.

Requirements
