LEAD INFORMATION

Job Title: MIG Welder

Site Location: Wigan

Responsible to: Production Manager

Responsible for: Manufacturing welded steel components with the use of MIG welding guns

KEY INFORMATION

Reason for vacancy: Increased demand

Contract: Full time, temp to perm

Basic pay: £13.50ph, 1.5x basic rate for overtime

Shifts: Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm, Fridays 8am-12.30pm

Holidays: Accrual whilst agency (21 days + BH once permanent)

Responsibilities:

• MIG Welding
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Production style welding in a variety of positions
• Finishing and quality assurance of products
• Manual handling of products and equipment
• All welding completed in jigs

Essential Skills:

• Previous MIG welding experience
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Good level of verbal and written English
