Job description

Our client, based in Bury, is looking to recruit an experienced MIG Welder.

We have worked with this client for several years; they offer a first-class working environment and the opportunity to work in the Manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

1. MIG experience on very heavy gauge materials.
2. Experience of using overhead cranes.
3. Working with heavy-duty beams up to 45 tonnes.
4. You must pass a multi-run fillet weld and butt weld test.
5. The role is subject to passing a drugs and alcohol test.

Candidate Profile:

Minimum 7 years’ experience as a MIG Welder.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

• Apprentice Trained in Welding & Fabrication (mandatory).
• Additional soft skills or qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.

Working Hours:

Nights: 19:00 - 05:45, Monday to Thursday.
