Job summary

SER Limited in Oldham is seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. The role involves welding fabricated components to drawings, setting up equipment, and ensuring quality and safety on a 36.5-hour week.

Qualifications

• MIG and TIG welding experience in fabrication/engineering environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong MIG and TIG welding skills with attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding of fabricated components.
• Preparing, aligning, and tack-welding components to drawings and specifications.
• Setting up and safely operating welding and fabrication equipment.
• Checking finished work for quality and accuracy.
• Reporting defects or production issues to management.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Following all Health & Safety and quality procedures.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
