Job summary

Holt Engineering in Oldham is seeking an experienced MIG & TIG Welder for a permanent, full-time role. You will weld from engineering drawings, produce high-quality components and fabrications, and contribute to a busy production environment.

This hands-on position offers up to £15.00 per hour, with ongoing training and development opportunities to grow your welding skills and career within the established engineering and manufacturing business.

Qualifications

• MIG and TIG welding experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Fabrication experience and high standard of workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding on components and fabrications.
• Work from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Weld a range of materials and thicknesses.
• Set and operate welding equipment to specification.
• Fabricate and assemble components to required dimensions.
• Perform visual checks to ensure weld quality and accuracy.
