Job summary

Precision People is recruiting a MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator in Nottingham NG15. The role focuses on producing high-quality welded and fabricated components, reading detailed drawings, and working with mild steel up to heavy gauges. The position offers a clear temp-to-perm route and day shifts.

The successful candidate will have apprentice-trained credentials and strong MIG/TIG welding experience, with the ability to work independently and interpret complex engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained Welder Fabricator with MIG/TIG experience.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and fabrication standards.
• Experience with mid- to heavy-gauge mild steel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate components using MIG and TIG in accordance with drawings.
• Interpret drawings and ensure dimensional accuracy on fabrications.
• Work on a variety of jobs and materials as required.
• Report to Fabrication Manager and maintain safety standards.
• Operate independently to hit project targets when needed.
