Job summary

Workforce Recruitment and Training in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a busy engineering and manufacturing workshop. The role involves producing high-quality fabrications from drawings, with MIG and TIG welding as required.

You will read engineering drawings, fabricate and assemble components, measure and mark materials, operate workshop machinery, and maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Experience in MIG welding (mild and stainless) and TIG welding where required.
• Solid fabrication and fitting skills with good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

MIG & TIG Welder Fabricator to join a busy workshop in

Birmingham.

The Role

As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated and welded components from drawings and specifications.

Your duties will include:

• MIG welding mild and stainless steel
• TIG welding where required
• Fabrication and assembly of components
• Working from engineering drawings
• Measuring, marking out and cutting materials
• Using workshop machinery and hand tools
• Ensuring all work meets required quality standards
• Carrying out finishing and dressing of welded components
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a
